Mission
We believe that space is crucial to the greater public good, both now and increasingly in our future. We invite a shift to a perception of space development as vitally important to our planet and each other. We illuminate and encourage this positive and hopeful perspective.
Purpose
Through space-focused entertaining, educational experiences, we provide the public varied and ongoing opportunities to engage and participate in the evolving story of space development; a story that benefits our home planet and everyone living on it.
Our Story
From the start of the space age, people have generally been interested in space. In the early years, there was tremendous excitement, enthusiasm and support. That has dwindled to where at present, for most people, space does not rise to significance. For them, the question is, “How is space relevant in my life or to me in my community?” This question, not new, needs exploring anew through the lens that the case has not yet been embraced by the many. If that case is there, and Forever Bound believes it is, we will help shape and make it.To open up and stimulate the conversation, Forever Bound engages the public through space-focused entertaining and informative experiences. With the interest generated through those experiences comes the opportunity to illuminate how and why space is consequential to each person, our life together on Earth, and our aspirations for our future. From space, looking upon our Earth, those that have experienced it speak of a fundamental, profound, and positive change of perspective, characterized by seeing our planet, and us on it, as one interconnected whole. This shift in perspective they experience as an enduring presence to direct their lives to more impactfully serve the common good. It is in that positive, hopeful, and healthy spirit Forever Bound pursues its endeavors. There are many people with the vision that space development leads to our civilization living sustainably off Earth. Many see it as mankind’s destiny. At Forever Bound, we don’t see that destiny as inevitable, but rather a monumental choice, one requiring full discernment of the many challenges in forging a permanent off-Earth presence, including technical, educational, social, financial, and emotional. Such a broad scope suggests that all of us are part of an ongoing and evolving conversation about how space development impacts our future on Earth and in space.Forever Bound engages the public to participate all along the way, to share the “action” with them, to make them a part of what’s going on. This approach increases the level of interest in space, bringing new voices to a conversation so vital to our futures.
